Before being a Chief of Police in Bend, Oregon, Jim spent 17 years working with a SWAT team and also in a narcotics division, all of which created high levels of stress. In a very short time, Porter turned the department around, and because of its national reputation—it won the U.S. Department of Justice Officer Wellness Award in 2018.

The Greens at Redmond is a challenging eighteen hole executive public golf course in Central Oregon designed by noted architect Robert Muir Graves. Located just minutes from the Redmond’s city center, the 18-hole course offers many man-made lakes, canals, fountains and numerous sand bunkers with mined white sand. The tees and greens have been planted with Penncross grass and the rolling fairways are 100% bluegrass. There are picturesque rock formations and many views of the Cascade Mountain Range to provide beauty and challenge as you play the course.

Deschutes County Fairgrounds RV Park and Tent Spaces: Guests must call the Deschutes County Fairgrounds and Expo Center RV Park directly at 541-585-1569, ask for Debora Shuping and then request the Rotary District 5110 RV space rate ($38.00/per night). There is a block of 30 spaces reserved. They are released to the general public on July 15. If you would like to reserve an electrified tenting space, please ask.
